Elder Falabella from the 70

What a spiritual week!!

This week my mission had the great opportunity to have Elder Falabella from the Quorum of the 70 come and visit my mission!

He taught us so much and it was a huge blessing to hear from him. I defiantly was stuffed full spiritually this week. He talked about the need we have as missionaries to be more personally converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He also stressed the need we have as missionaries to have more unity in our companionships. The biggest point he covered however is how we need to change our habits and what we do if we want to get a bigger and better result. He invited us to double the baptisms in the mission! He then explained how Ammon could baptize 1000s of people, it wasn’t anything he did alone, in fact the only way it was possible was through the recent converts. After the king and his wife were baptized they invited their parents and servants to come and hear Ammon’s words. After the servants were baptized they invited others to come and listen. After this multitude came and listened they invited many more to hear the Lord’s message.

Brothers and sisters if we want to help our Heavenly Father and His children, if we truly desire to see 1000s be baptized, we need to be the ones inviting them, teaching our friends and families, or at the very least invite "future members" to activities and give them a chance to enjoy the Blessings of the Restored Gospel in their lives.

I love this Gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ, and if I really do love it, then I will find joy in sharing it with others. I invite all of you to experience the joy of sharing the Message of the Gospel!

Love you all and make sure to keep reading the Book of Mormon every day!!
Let me know if you have any questions about Ecuador or the mission!!

1. The Ecuadorians tree of life
2. There’s lots of soccer fields here in Machala that are just dirt and bamboo posts.
3. 4. 5. 6. We had a photo shoot on some old and very very weak bridge. I literally almost broke the thing and I don’t even weigh that much but worth the pic right?

New Families

What up fellow humans?

Man this week was a fun one!!

I cant say enough how much I love preaching and sharing this Gospel!! Especially to Families!!! This week we have been working diligently with 3 new families and have seen soooo many blessings happening for them! I have enjoyed 3 noche de hogares (family home evenings) this week and these families love having us over!! Haha they seriously don’t even let us get out of our seat until we have another appointment to pass by for them again!!

Sadly there were some parties going on this weekend so not many people went to church... my church starts at 8:00am btw... yeah that’s pretty rough on us. Especially because we wake up at 5:20am every Sunday to get ready and start trying to wake up everyone and get them to church! But hey who needs sleep right? Plus I have a scripture that I read to myself often in Enos 1:27

And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen.

So at least I know I’ll rest someday right?;)

But yeah it’s been a super fast week so I’m not really sure what else happened....? It’s all kind of blurring together now. But I’m happy and loving the mission!!

Love you guys! Thanks for all the letters!!

2 Bautismos!!

Hey norte americanos que tal? Para mi esta semana fue bacansísimo!! ¡La plena siento demasiado bien y tranquil para estar en un sector todo el día todo los días!

That’s right baby I’m back in a sector and grinding every day again!! And I could not be happier to do so!!! Every day I wake up like a little kid waiting for Christmas to get out into the sector and start teaching and finding souls!

So a couple highlights of the week:

First off the 2 baptisms!! Man it was so much fun to get to know and teach Daniela Pinos y Xavier Cabrera!! They are some dang cool teens and have been a huge motivation to me this week! I honestly have no idea donde se fue el tiempo! But yeah it was a huge success and a great service! I was humbled when asked to preform the Baptism, I of course tried to get other members to baptize here but she was determined that a missionary should baptize her (and my comp is super funny and super shy around girls so he didn’t want to baptize her)

Then on Sunday I had like 3 huge miracles happen!!
1. Daniela and Xavier got confirmed and then 2 other young guys leaving to the mission field this week gave talks perfect for Daniel and Xavier!! They both told me yesterday that they want to prepare to be missionaries!! What a cool sacrament meeting?!

2. We had 3 incredible new families that we found and thought this week attend church with us!! Man it has only been one week and I have seen such a huge change in some of their families since meeting them!

3. MANUEL DIAS IS HERE IN MY ZONE!!!!! Manuel is the first person I had the great privilege to baptize, and is now living here in my zone. He attends a different ward but I was so happy to see him on Sunday and talk to him again!!!! And the best part is that he is now preparing to enter the temple and receive his endowment this upcoming January!! So hopefully I will get permission to go to the temple with him and watch him go through and receive this huge blessing!!

Well that’s all the time I got beloved friends and family!
Let me know if you have questions!?
