Baptizing familia Mogollon!!!

We had a baptism this week and it was awesome!!

I will also be training and receiving a new missionary this week!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tons of pics but ill send them next week.....

Love you clowns!!!!
Hope you all suffered on Black Friday.... yeah I’m still a hater of that Thanksgiving killer.

Love, Elder Stidham

To his Mom:
IM GOING TO TRIAN A NEWBIE!!!!  Man I am so pumped about that!!!! I have seriously had the dream of training a new missionary my whole mission!! Even though I trained Elder Garcia for 7 months... he still had 5 weeks in the mission before me. So yeah he kind of already knew how the mission was. Btw he’s going to Huaquillas. Its the border of Peru and Ecuador, I’ve had several interchanges there so I know what its like and he’s gonna love it!

But man I am so excited for this week!! Hopefully all goes well with the new companion and our 3 baptisms that we will be having this week!!! The baptism that we had went amazing and it was so fun to see Adriana enter into the baptismal font with her dad who we helped reactivate!!!

I’m glad you guys had a good thanksgiving and got to spend time together as a family!! Cannot wait for next years!!

It makes me so happy to see drake and Carson playing with the punching gloves ha-ha!!! Something defiantly in the Stidham family!!

Hey just so you know I’m not sure exactly but I’ve heard that envelopes and letters take like 6 to 8 months to get here usually... but maybe ill get lucky and it will get here quickly!!

Love you so much momma!!!! Thank you so much for all that you do and you gotta talk to Hermana Wood when you’re free this week, remind me to send you her email address next week! I don’t have it with me right now because I am in Guayaquil.

Te amo mama osa!

Sea of Bannanas!! and 30 cent Mangos

Well this week was freaking awesome!!!!

Highlights of this week!!

Familia Avila got baptized on Saturday!!! Oh man that was such a great moment!! They are soooo smart and prepared for the Gospel!! And it has been absolutely amazing getting to know and teach and serve this beloved family of mine!! I seriously cannot tell you how much this family means to me!! We spent all week planning out every detail of the baptism and it went so smoothly and was awesome!! Haha the funniest part is that the city of Machala where I live is having lost of changes and the water got super dirty in the process... so yeah for the last 2 weeks we have had dirty water.... dirty green water means dirty green baptism. Haha but it went well and we all left smiling so no harm done. Not today Satan!

Other highlight is having 2 other familias preperandose para bautizarse el proxima 2 semanas!! Familia Mogollon is going to get baptized this week and familia Cabrera the first day of December!! Man I just love teaching families right now!!! They are all seriously so much fun and I could not be happier to be here serving in 18 de Ocutbre, Machala!!

We also went to el Guabo for P-day today to play volleyball!! El Guabo is a little town that grows the most Bananas in the whole world!!! So yeah all you can see there are banana trees, literally every house has them and they are all surrounded by banana farms!

Well I’m outta time so I gots to go but I love you guys and appreciate the support, prayers and love!!

Have a great Thanksgiving and eat some Turkey for me!!
I’m thankful for the Book of Mormon and for being able to choose to be happy every day!!

Misionero de Tiempo Completo

What’s up non-rice eaters?? How has your Halloween week been?

Man I have just had the fastest week of my life!! Me and my mission have been focused on doubling the baptisms that we have been having and so we put lots of goals to do so!!

And man has it felt so good to achieve and almost achieve so many high goals we’ve set!! The reason this week has gone by so fast is that now I have this feeling of Urgency all day to keep talking to everyone and having more people participate in the lessons!! But on the bright side we have had some killer results!! Right now we are helping 11 people get prepared for their baptisms!! And man I’m so excited to see how many more people we can find and teach this next week!

Besides losing ourselves in the work 110% this week not too sure what happened.... but hey I had fun so that’s what’s important!

Oh totally forgot about an awesome experience we had!!!! So we set up a family home evening with familia Avila who are getting prepared to be baptized and we invited their cousins and other family members to come and join us. Well it was super fun because we had a bbq (here they call it a parriada) and then watched the Plan of Salvation cartoon videos the church made. At the end of the video we shared some scriptures and asked the familia Avila to share their testimonies about how different they have felt while preparing to get baptized. They shared some awesome experiences and then we invited the other family members to get baptized and every one of them who isn’t already a member accepted!!! But the best part of the night was that Hector Avila made a poster that says "QUEREMOS BAUTISMO" which means "WE WANT BAPTISUMS!" haha he spent the whole night marching and shouting queremos bautsimo!!

Love you all and have a great week!!
Id love to hear from all of you so if you got time send me a letter!!
