Bustan el Soñador

Que tal mi querida familia?!
I hope you guys are all doing just fine and loving this summer so far!

As for me here everything is going amazingª!!! The weather here is super nice now, as always its super cloudy but the heat is going down a lil and at night there’s lots of beautiful ocean breeze!!

The reason why I chose to call this email: Bustan the Dreamer, is because we had another Baptism this last Saturday!! Technically his name is Angelo but he likes everyone to call him Bustan. He has had so many challenges and trials in his life, and when the missionaries were finally guided to him, he was in desperate need for the gospel!! But man how incredible his transformation has been through the power of this Gospel!! I really have been so blessed to have gotten to know him, he has defiantly taught me more than I ever taught him. He has had lots of problems with bullies and within his family his whole life, but at every moment he just forgets himself and tries to help other people so that they don’t feel the way he does. Man his heart is so big and I’m so happy to see him grow happier in the few months that I’ve gotten to know him! He told us on the second visit that he wanted to be like us and serve a mission and with the more time we’ve know him the stronger his desire is to Prepare himself and Put in his papers!

Before his baptism we wanted to help him have some more friends in the ward, recently we had a RM get back from serving in Guatemala and he has been a huge help to us!!! But anyway for our family home evening we had like 12 people get together and we made Fried Ice-cream! Its pretty good but the reason I love doing it so much is because no one here has ever heard of it before and it always catches their attention and lets us come back for another visit!

Anyways I’m outta time this week, have a great week and stay safe!!
