What’s up non-rice eaters?? How has your Halloween week
been?
Man I have just had the fastest week of my life!! Me and my
mission have been focused on doubling the baptisms that we have been having and
so we put lots of goals to do so!!
And man has it felt so good to achieve and almost achieve so
many high goals we’ve set!! The reason this week has gone by so fast is that
now I have this feeling of Urgency all day to keep talking to everyone and
having more people participate in the lessons!! But on the bright side we have
had some killer results!! Right now we are helping 11 people get prepared for their
baptisms!! And man I’m so excited to see how many more people we can find and
teach this next week!
Besides losing ourselves in the work 110% this week not too
sure what happened.... but hey I had fun so that’s what’s important!
Oh totally forgot about an awesome experience we had!!!! So
we set up a family home evening with familia Avila who are getting prepared to
be baptized and we invited their cousins and other family members to come and
join us. Well it was super fun because we had a bbq (here they call it a
parriada) and then watched the Plan of Salvation cartoon videos the church
made. At the end of the video we shared some scriptures and asked the familia
Avila to share their testimonies about how different they have felt while preparing
to get baptized. They shared some awesome experiences and then we invited the
other family members to get baptized and every one of them who isn’t already a
member accepted!!! But the best part of the night was that Hector Avila made a
poster that says "QUEREMOS BAUTISMO" which means "WE WANT
BAPTISUMS!" haha he spent the whole night marching and shouting queremos
bautsimo!!
Love you all and have a great week!!
Id love to hear from all of you so if you got time send me a
letter!!
